Question 1

Should I get tested even if I feel healthy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many health conditions, including high cholesterol, vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and diabetes risk, may not cause noticeable symptoms in their early stages. Regular health testing can help identify potential issues before they become more serious, allowing you to make informed decisions about your health and wellbeing. Taking a proactive approach to testing can give you peace of mind and help you stay in control of your long-term health..

Question 2

When should I collect my cortisol sample?

Accepted Answer

Reference ranges for Cortisol tests are for samples collected between 6.00 am - 10.00 am, and at midnight. Cortisol levels are higher when you first wake up and then fall steadily during the day. We recommend that you collect your sample during these times if you want to compare it to the reference range..

Question 3

What does my bowel cancer result mean?

Accepted Answer

A result below 10 ug/g is generally considered negative or low risk. However, if you receive this result and you are still experiencing symptoms (such as abdominal pain, unexplained tiredness, unexpected weight loss or changes in bowel habits) you should seek further advice from a healthcare professional. We can arrange a doctors consultation for you or refer you to a specialist..
