Why should I consider a pregnancy test?

The Better2Know pregnancy test is confidential and highly accurate with the sample analysis conducted in a certified country-based laboratory. Whether your pregnancy is planned or unplanned, it is advisable to take the test after the first day of a missed period. If you are uncertain when your next period is due, consider taking the test at least 21 days or three weeks after your unprotected sexual encounter.

At Better2Know, we also offer specialised counselling if your result is not the result you were hoping for.

How is the pregnancy test carried out?

At a clinic of your choice, you will be seen privately and professionally. You will be asked for a urine sample at the clinic. Once the urine sample is taken, we will send it directly to our country-based accredited laboratory for analysis.

How will I receive my test results?

We are proud of our quick turnaround times; the results of your pregnancy test will be ready within one working day of your samples arrival at our laboratory. One of our welcoming and experienced Patient Services team will contact you directly to let you know that your results are ready and will invite you to log on to your secure patient area of our website to view your results.

What should I do with my results?

If the Better2Know pregnancy tests confirms you are pregnant, and you wish to be pregnant, please contact your doctor or midwife to initiate antenatal care. Alternatively, if the Better2Know test reveals you are pregnant and this is unwelcome, or that you are not pregnant, we are here to help. We can support you by giving advice and testing on getting pregnant, or counselling on the choices available to you. We have a network of private doctors and counsellors in the country that we can put you in touch with, either via telephone or face to face consultations before your test or after you have received your results.
