What does the Peace of Mind Screen test for?

The Peace of Mind Screen includes testing for:

  • Chlamydia

  • Gonorrhoea

  • Syphilis

You can bolt on additional STIs to this screen at a discounted price. This includes testing for HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and many more.

What will happen at my appointment?

Your clinician will need to collect blood and urine samples for the Peace of Mind Screen. There are no uncomfortable swabs needed. Please make sure you can produce a urine sample at your appointment. You may find it helpful not to go to the toilet in the two hours prior to your appointment. There are no fasting requirements for this screen.

How will I get my results?

Better2Know's sexual health experts will review your results and upload them to your secure patient results area as soon as they come in. Our team reports results 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will also contact you via your preference of email, phone call or SMS as soon as all your results are ready to report.

What if my results reveal that I have an STI?

Do not worry, we will help you. All the infections in this screen are curable with antibiotics. Your Better2Know doctor can help you to get the right medication and advice. You can also take your results to your doctor or sexual health centre if you prefer.
