How does this test work?
In addition to testing for all the STIs that comprise the Platinum Profile, the Platinum Plus Screen utilises both blood and urine samples to identify Herpes infections. This allows for accurate detection of a Herpes infection in both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients.

When will I receive the results from the Platinum Plus Screen?
You will receive your test results within three working days of your sample’s arrival at our laboratory. Results are reported in your secure Patient Area, allowing you to check the status of your tests online. A member of Better2Know’s sexual health advisory team will also contact you when all your results are available. Should you wish, you can receive your test results directly via SMS message or email.
