What can I expect at my appointment?
Upon arriving at your appointment, you will be able to ask any questions regarding the sample collection process. Your nurse or doctor will guide you to a bathroom where you will be able to collect you own urine sample in private. To ensure you can collect a good sample amount, please refrain from using the bathroom for a few hours before your appointment.
What happens to my sample?
Once your urine sample has been collected, it will be sent to our accredited laboratory for analysis. Results take from five days for this test.
How will I receive my test results?
Your test results will be uploaded to your secure online Patient Area as soon as they become available. You will receive a notification by email or SMS inviting you to log on to see them.
What if I test positive?
If your test results shows that you have Trichomonas, your Better2Know doctor will discuss the next steps with you and will provide you with access to the right medication.
