How does Hepatitis C home testing work?
This test requires a blood sample. After you have bought your test online, we will post the discreet STI test pack to your chosen address - the postal packaging is plain so no one will know what it is. In the test kit box, you will find everything you need to take your blood sample. Included in your kit is a leaflet that will give you step-by-step instructions on how to collect your blood sample. You must follow the instructions on the leaflet carefully. You will receive an email when your results are ready, you can also login to your online Patient Area to check whenever you like.
When will my test arrive?
If you order a test before 4pm Monday to Friday, we will post it to you on the same day. Depending upon where you live, your Hepatitis C test kit should arrive in the next 2 to 5 working days.
How long before I get my Hepatitis C test result?
The results of your Hepatitis C test should be ready within 1 working day from when your sample arrives at the laboratory.
What happens if my test is positive and I need treatment?
You can choose for Better2Know to arrange an appointment for you with a doctor so that you can discuss the results and appropriate next steps, or you can take your results to your doctor.
