Which infections will the Urethral Culture Test identify?
Better2Know’s Urine Culture Test will identify the presence of yeast or harmful bacteria in the urine, which may be the cause of a urinary tract infection (UTI) or other infections.
Is the Urethral Culture Test accurate?
To ensure the highest level of accuracy, all the pathology for Better2Know’s tests is performed in our accredited laboratory. If bacteria or yeast is detected, the total number of organisms is counted, known as a colony count. Additional biochemical testing will then identify the organisms.
How does this test work?

When will I receive the results from the Urethral Culture Test?
You can expect your test results within four business days after your sample arrives at our laboratory. The results will be available in the secure patient login section of our website, enabling you to monitor your progress online.
